Clean Water. Sustainable Food. Empowered Communities.

In the rural areas of Mutare, Zimbabwe, families face two critical challenges: access to clean water and food security. VillageWorx is addressing both by combining the power of sustainable agriculture with the life-changing gift of clean water.

We’re training 90 farmers in Foundations for Farming methods like Pfumvudza, which will enable them to grow enough food for their families and teach others to do the same. Alongside this agricultural training, each participating family will receive an Uzima water filter, providing them with a reliable source of clean, safe water.

The Impact

  • Clean Water: Each Uzima water filter provides safe drinking water for up to 10 years, reducing disease and improving health outcomes.
  • Food Security: Conservation agriculture techniques empower families to grow sufficient food, even in challenging climates.
  • Community Multiplication: By becoming trained trainers, these 90 farmers will share their skills and resources with hundreds more, creating a ripple effect of hope and transformation.

Impact Breakdown

  • Agricultural training for 90 farmers over one year.
  • Monthly follow-up and mentorship sessions.
  • Training materials, farming tools, and seeds.
  • Uzima water filters for all participating families.
  • Graduation and certification for trainers to multiply the work in their communities.

With your help, we can raise $25,000 to fund this program. Together, we can meet families’ most essential needs for food and water while empowering them to build a sustainable future.
